 Transformers G1 Starscream Death & Ghost Reissue Figures (Black & Clear) eHobby
This set of Generation 1 reissue Starscream variants includes both the black Death version and the clear Ghost version produced by Takara and e-Hobby 9 years ago. Each are constructed of both metal and plastic parts in replication of his original model from 1984.
Most G1 Transformers fans will recall when Starscream was killed, he turned all black before disintegrating to dust. They should also recall when he returned as a ghost in future episodes. These 2 very rare figures replicate those epic events and both boxes are in mint condition ready for AFA grading. We only have 1 of these sets in stock.
Each comes with sticker sheet along with a pair of rocket launchers, 4 spare missiles, a pair of fists and 3 pairs of wings.
Although this is a toy and Takara suggests an age of 5 and up, it is designed more for the serious G1 collector. These were produced in 2001 but both boxes have been kept in an environmentally controlled room inside a sealed box and they are still in mint condition and factory sealed. Any defects you might notice from the images are either flash reflections from the camera or image editing mistakes.

This limited edition polystone statue depicts one of the most famous Decepticons, Soundwave set against a crystal background on base inscribed with the Deception insignia and surrounded by what appears to be a mini version of the space bridge used in the cartoon series. He includes 3 detachable cassette companions: Rumble, Laserbeak and Ravage. All pieces secure to the base at various points to give the appearance of in-action flight. The entire set stands over 8 inches tall and comes with hand numbered base, box and ID card explaining that only 1,000 of these were produced worldwide.

Although this item was produced in 2006, the box is still in near mint condition, showing little corner wear from shipment. Because of this item’s size, rarity and value, we removed the tape sealing the Styrofoam which holds the statue to ensure that all parts were included and undamaged.

This very rare figure was released in limited quantities by Takara and distributed by eHobby only in Japan. He is an exact replica of the Generation 1 character Omega Supreme, who was re-released around the same time during their continuing Encore line of G1 Transformers. Fans will recall this famous character when he showed up in numerous flashbacks of the ancient Cybertonian days of Orion Pax & Ariel and then later on when depicted as the Quintesson’s enforcers.
Although this is a toy and Takara suggests an age of 7 and up, it is designed more for the serious G1 collector and will surely gain value in the years to come.
The figure itself is painted blue and white to match the G1 cartoon character however because these mindless guardians could be turned to either faction’s control, he comes with dual insignia sticker sheets to be used for whichever group you decide to side him with. Also included is a pamphlet and the box is covered with detailed artwork.

 Transformers Head Statue Set – All of The G1 Leaders Bust
This limited edition polystone bust set comes with 5 separate statues depicting all of the Generation 1 Autobot and Decepticon Transformer Leaders: Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Rodimus Prime, Megatron and Galvatron. There is only 1 statue of each character and they are only heads, no bodies were made for these.
Exquisite detail was put into the production of these and all of Art Asylum’s statues. Each stands approximately 5 inches tall and comes with numbered base and box explaining that only a small amount of each was produced worldwide. 5,000 Optimus Prime, 2,500 Megatron, 1,500 Rodimus, 1,000 Galvatron, 600 Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus was an exclusive release for the New York ComicCon.
These are not considered toys and are therefore not intended for children. They are designed for the serious G1 collector and will continue to earn value in the years to come.

 Transformers Takara Masterpiece Collection MP-3 Starscream
The MP-03 Masterpiece Starscream measures 13â long in jet mode and 10â high in robot mode. Though modeled somewhat after his Gen 1 incarnation, this version of Starscream is notably rangier and darker, defined by mechanical intricacies and a more of a gunmetal-flat finish. Sleek jet mode includes purple Decepticon insignias, an amber-glazed cockpit bubble and detachable missiles. The rectangular base accessory provides a rack for detached missiles as well as providing a post-mounted display for either jet or robot mode. In robot mode, Starscream is as well-articulated as the Masterpiece Prime. He features the familiar inverted wings, heel-stationed thrusters, and arm-mounted Null Ray cannons. Set between the red-interior shoulder pylons, his head retains a familiar shape as well, Starscream-stamped down top the details of his sardonic red eyes and malignant sneer. Starscream is fueled purely by avarice and ambition, a perfect one-track engine of treachery and betrayal. He serves under Megatron only in the interest of maintaining a staging ground to further his sedition. One of his primary weaknesses exists in his inability to conceal his dissension. He tries to seize power at each shallow opportunity, usually subverting his greater agenda in the process. In the Gen 1 cartoon, StarscreamâTMs avarice was usually portrayed comically, which made him one of the most memorable and enjoyable characters on the show. He did manage to wrest control of the Decepticons for a few scrabbling minutes here and there, and in Transformers: The Movie, he even advanced under the pretense of formal ceremony, crown of leadership included, at least until Galvatron vaporized him. Now revamped into a more grandiose Masterpiece version, he seems outwardly more formidable than most other versions.

Be sure to check out the City Commander Upgrade Parts Set – a great add-on to the Classics Ultra Magnus. Classics Ultra Magnus is a revamp of Classics Optimus Prime, the mold of which is an angular, extensively articulated tribute to the Gen 1 version. The Dreamwave storyline involves ShockwaveâTMs consolidation of the Autobot and Decepticons into a single faction. Ultra Magnus becomes a general, temporarily serving under ShockwaveâTMs command. Eventually, Ultra Magnus is attacked by Shockwave, the former sustaining a high level of damage and shedding his ravaged outer armor. Classics Optimus Prime looks a little like a mixture between the Gen 1 concept and that of the Dreamwave War Within series. Prime is equipped with his Laser Gun, and a second larger blaster rifle contained with a transformable back plate. The truck mode is an armored juggernaut geared for the annihilation of Decepticon obstacles.

E-Hobby has just announced another brand new exclusive! The Clear Mirage exclusive features a clear or translucent plastic version of the very popular Ford GT mold. Stay tuned for more details and images as they are released.
This version of Mirage has been christened the Electro Disrupter version. Presented as a Ford GT as opposed to a formula race car, Mirages vehicle mode features all of the usual car interior accoutrements. The engine turbocharger transforms into handheld blasters. The robot mode is particularly interesting, featuring a slightly deviated transformation mode and providing Mirage with a bulky frame.
Mirages default function presents him as a spy, a task to which his electro-disruptor ability is perfectly suited; originally the ability was cited as being able to cast illusions altering Mirages physical placement and appearance for up to 6 minutes. Additionally he was originally cited for mild ambiguity in terms of the Autobot cause, although the cartoon version was sometimes (no pun intended) cloaked in mystery, at the end of the day Mirages loyalty and courage were without question.
